I was at the hot sauce festival in Austin today. I look over and saw this guy who I used to talk to on LJ. I have no idea what his real name is or his LJ name. I wanted to say hi, but he was walking too fast. Last I knew he lived in Michigan or something and this was about 8 years ago. Weird. I wish I could find his name on here. I think it started w/ an A.

i'm too busy and tired to write about my life. i'm not deleting this though due to all the memories on it from the past. things are good. still teaching. still with jeremy. he moved in. we're in NH on vacation. my back is finished after over 2 years. here are pictures.

Things are pretty awesome.
Jeremy and I are doing amazing. I got to go back to New Hampshire for Thanksgiving and see my family now that i'm a teacher and have lots of time off!
I asked for a transfer out of the behavior program I was teaching. I didn't feel like I was teaching much. The program is set up to teach social skills, coping skills and help the kids develope problem solving skills. Because of the area, the kids and their enviornment it's almost impossible to do anything with them. All I was doing was putting out fires left and right.
After some rumors flying around from this girl who works there that is friends w/ this chick Claire (who decided to date/screw my ex boyfriend Casey this summer and say peace out to me. Casey txted me saying I was fired- which was the funniest thing because he lives in TN. I'm really not sure where that girl got the idea I was fired. It may be because I was never out of my room due to this new student that we had to put in restraint 3 times a day - almsot every day. So I was always in my room....
Anyway... The district had a Life Skills position opening in January and they offered it to me. Once they hired the new Behavior teacher I helped out in the Life Skills class on my campus for a few weeks. I then transfered last week to a different campus. I really miss my behavior kids, but i'm so happy where I am.
I'm working with the teacher there and will be opening my own class in January. The kids are amazing. I'm super excited.
I took my SPED test on Saturday. I find out how I did on the 28th. That's my LJ update.

I'm a teacher for REALZ!
I'm so excited. I got hired this afternoon by Del Valle ISD. I'll be teaching the Focus class- which is behavioral/social skills type class. I'm so excited. It's social work/special education all in one!
It's such a relief having a job. Now i'm ready to start reading up more on behavior management, group building, and social skills activities.
It's at a elementary school so i'll be having kids in grade 1st-6th grade. Not all are in Special Education and not all have IEPs. Should be interesting!

So I finished my back last night at around 6:30 pm. I got there at 11 am, Chris Trevino came in around 11:30 am or so and ate. We started around 12:30 or so. I put this a apron on with my bra under it, and unbottoned my pants and stood in front of Chris. He started drawing on me. It was such a crazy experience. I just stood there for 1 1/2 hours and he was drawing away. The plan was to have my whole upper back tattooed and have it end right above where my other tattoo is, above my hips. I asked what he thought about that, or having the tail go down on my right hip onto my butt. He said, he knows what he's going to do and to trust him and started drawing.
The plan was also to have cherry blossoms, but then I saw another flower, I can't remember the name, but the meaning is Royalty, war and blood. I think it's Peony, but i'm not sure. So anyway, it's a lot bigger so as he started drawing them in around the Koi he says... you know I think having a full flower here, besides the tail will make it all even and really make the tattoo perfect. So I decided to go for it. So here is what I have so far, I just got it yesterday so it's soooo swollen and my butt and hips look huge. The scales aren't on yet. He drew for about 1 1/2 hours, then tattooed for about 3 1/2 hours and this is the outcome. I'll come in if they have a cancelation for the scales in the next few weeks, and then after that I have a appt. in Dec, and two in January for shading and color. I'll probably have to set up a zillion more appts. He usually only does it for about 1 , or 1 1/2 hr sessions, so it'll take forever until i'm finished, but as of now i'm in love! He wants to have some pedals on my left thigh, and I didn't think I wanted to, but now I think it'll look really good on the outside of my left thigh, kinda even it out w/ my right 1/2 sleeve.
**Edit**- The empty spot on my right shoulder is where Chris has his name. I wish it was somewhere on the bottom, but he did it w/o me really knowing. He has some japanese letters or something he uses for his name, to show he's the artist, and that's where it's going to go.**
So here are the pictures! There are some butt shots, so it's not really work friendly.

Friday night I went to see Blackpool Lights (with Jim, the singer from the get up kids). There were only about 12 people there watching and 3 of us were over 21. He sang Forgive and Forget from the get up kids and I almost died. I ended up going on a crazy adventure trying to meet up with them, playing phone tag with Brian the bass player. By the end of the night we ended up going to some party with them, then heading back to their hotel, where I grabbed Chris the tour manager to walk to my car and then pick them up to bring to Brady's party, but they fell asleep so Chris and I were off to more drunken fun at my neighbors.
It was fun. And they totally played forgive and forget.

So I went to the beach finally! Here are some pictures.
his past weekend was a 3 day weekend for me. My new friend Aaron recently had some time off as well, so we busted out of Austin (his first time since moving here a year ago, and my first time since December) and headed down south to South Padre. Now my past experience (Corpus Christi) with Texas beaches, were not very good. The ocean was brown. We stopped at a beach on the way to South Padre because I couldn't wait any longer, I needed to see ocean and this is what we saw:

So i'm taking a Hatha Flow beginners series to learn everything step by step. I've been doing Hatha for a year or so now, but i'm scared to go into the Hatha Flow class. So anyway, we learned a lot that I already knew today, but then she brought out chairs. There were two chairs and a two yoga mats on the chairs. She was like we're going to try going upside down with a head stand. If you can do plank, you can do a headstand. So I was like, well I can't do plank. So she picked me to demonstrate. She's like I saw you doing plank and you did it just fine. So anyway there were two chairs and basically I stuck my head in between them w/ my shoulders resting on the chairs and there were two people holding the chairs. Then I held onto the bottom. She's like lift your leg and kick it back, so I did and she helped guide my legs up and next thing you know I was upside down! It was awesome! We then went into small groups and I was like i'll do it again, so I was the first person in my group to try it.
So when I got home today I was like I bet I can do it w/o chairs! So I got down near the wall and kicked my legs up and I was in a headstand! I'm excited. I can't balance for the life of me and need a wall for my legs to lean against, but it was still pretty awesome.

I woke up at 4am and I can't fall back to sleep. I think it was a combination of me being hot, having too many animals in my bed, and being itchy. I'm trying to figure out if I should turn on the TV, just lay in bed until I fall asleep again, pay bills, or clean my room and closet and at least be productive, maybe then i'll get tired and want to crash for a few hours before work.

I'm looking for a roommate for July 1st or later. Someone between the ages of 25-33. Male or female, gay or straight.
The place is in South Austin on Sheraton Ave. in a new development. It is off of S. Congress heading south, right past Ben White.
It's in a big brand new house, just finished on 3/31. It's a two floor, 3 bedroom, game room, 2.5 bath, garage, patio w/ fenced in big yard w/ a patio set, kiddy pool, and room to garden. The rent is 550.00 a month with gas, water, trash, local phone and alarm system included. You'd split electricty and road runner internet with me. No cable TV, but a big TV and DVD player in the living room that you can watch.
